Overview
International and Chinese domestic adoption enable only a small percentage of orphanage
children to find a loving home every year. Most of them will have no choice but
to be kept at orphanages until they are sixteen or seventeen years old, never knowing
the love of a family.
In 1994, Josh and Lily, co-founders of Chinese Children Adoption International,
established the Chinese Orphan Formula Fund (COFF) to provide nutritious milk and meals
to orphanage children. Two years later, COFF was expanded into the Chinese Children
Charity Fund (CCCF) to provide childcare, foster care, medical, educational,
and disaster
relief to hundreds of orphanages. Today, CCCF’s impact can be felt across China
and the quality of life for thousands of abandoned children has been changed for the better.
